Sport in a Storm goes Dutch!

ICS’s flagship sports news site, Sport in a Storm, has launched a Dutch language portal.
Sport in a Storm was founded in the summer of 2013 to provide exclusive news and analysis across a range of sports.
The site went international six months later with the addition of four new language portals, with further languages launched at the start of 2014.
Over the summer, Hungarian, Swedish and Bulgarian were added to the roster and now Dutch will feature as the 15th language covered on the site.
Sport in a Storm has become increasingly popular over the last 12 months, particularly since the turn of the year. Traffic increased significantly between February and June, with June representing over 125,000 unique visitors and 200,000 page views. These strong figures have continued into the autumn.
The English website provides up-to-the-minute news on a range of sports, including at least one article a day for every Premier League club. In addition to this, Sport in a Storm publishes regular daily content on Cricket, Tennis, Rugby (Union and League), Motorsport, Golf and Horse Racing.
The international portals for Sport in a Storm have a strong regional focus, with teams based in the UK and in each individual country providing articles of interest to local sports fans.
Commenting on the launch of the Dutch site, International Content Manager Andy Morgan said: “The Netherlands has always had a strong sporting tradition, with the Eredivisie rightly seen as one of the strongest leagues in the world.
“With love of the English Premier League and Champions League strong across the country, as well as a range of other sports, we are ideally placed to provide top quality content for the Dutch market.
“With experienced journalists based in the UK and the Netherlands, we are looking forward to covering all the sports news that matters in the Dutch language.”
