Independent Content Services (ICS) has confirmed that Urdu will be the 33rd language the company will cover following the launch of their Hindi language service last month.
In addition to Hindi, ICS already provides visual, audio and written content in Arabic and a range of other languages across SE Asia and Europe. Our dedicated teams combine their extensive sports knowledge with local flavour, creating a bespoke quality product for every territory they serve.
With the increasing popularity of the Indian Premier League, as well as cricket’s enduring grip on the region, ICS is hoping to capitalise on the increased interest in sport across India and Pakistan.
India’s forthcoming tour of England means that ICS is perfectly placed to deliver ball-by-ball analysis and extensive features on one of the fiercest rivalries in international cricket.
Our Urdu staff are passionate about other sports too – most notably football, golf, Formula One and tennis – as well as a range of other topics including travel, insurance, entertainment and politics. They can deliver engaging copy to suit your specific needs in a timeframe and budget to suit.
International Content Manager Andy Morgan said: “We are excited about launching our Urdu language services to complement the content already provided by our teams in Hindi.
“With our teams based in many key cricketing countries, including Australia and England, we hope to work in partnership with our staff in India and Pakistan to create engaging dynamic content.
“We also hope to focus on the burgeoning entertainment scene in the two countries, particularly the growing movie culture across the region.
“As a consequence, we are perfectly placed to deliver quality visual, written and audio content to suit any need.”
